Objective Personality
System based on function theory that makes several fantastic contributions.

Objective Personality (OP) -> Objective personality seeks to understand personality type more in depth using the scientific method. The two creators type individuals separately and then compare results in an effort to produce consistent reliable results showing that it is possible to identify a person's type objectively.
Additionally, their goal to create a consistent evaluation system led them to discover many tangible theoretical mechanisms that can be observed in people's behavior.
Their system introduced many concepts that in my experience hold up incredibly well. These concepts are:
Animals
Pairings of functions that a user must utilize to ping pong back and forth when both functions are needed. These animals explain broad behaviors and can help explain how individuals likely spend their time and utilize their function stack.
Animals also answer the question, "If there are several atomic elements that each perform their own tasks and act in their own way, then how to complicated behaviors and skills emerge?"
For example, complicated behaviors such as casual debates can be explained as a the use of several animals frequently and in a particular order to produce a complicated chain of actions.
Hypothetical: Jim and Dawn are debating what is the best topping on pizza.
Jim: "Pepperoni is the best because the flavors go together and its a staple of pizza."
Dawn: "Onions are the best because the flavors contrast and pop more and its a healthy option that balances out the lack of general nutrients in pizza."
In this simple two sentence interaction, both Jim and Dawn needed to internally formulate an opinion based on their previous experience as well as their beliefs/opinions (Di + Oi Sleep), and convey that information externally to the other party by communcating specific points/thoughts as well as explain what observations or information led them to come to the conclusion they did (De + Oi Blast). As a bonus Dawn also needed to engage the Consume animal by taking in the external information presented to her by Jim and formulating her own internal thoughts and opinions about his point (Oe + Di Consume).
Masculine & Feminine Functions
Functions can be either Masculine or Feminine. While I believe these terms can carry some controversial and incorrect connotations, I also believe there to be truth to the theory and have a wide store of anecdotal examples where they predict behavior. Interestingly there seems to be a connection between the strength of a persons function and that functions disposition (term that refers to a functions masculinity or femininity) and their general likely hood to appear assertive or passive to others.
For this reason I believe better terms for these concepts are Assertive and Passive and I will be using these going forward. I will also annotate Assertive and Passive functions like so:
Fe+ = Assertive Fe
Fe- = Passive Fe
Function Disposition seems to describe how a function assigns responsibility. What I mean by that is Assertive functions seem to believe that it is the responsibility of others/external factors to engage in behaviors associated with the function. Ex: Assertive Fe considers it their peers responsibility to socialize with them and give them their daily ( or whatever timescale) dose of interaction and acknowledgement. NOTE: These examples assume poor or undeveloped maturity and are not claims as to how Fe will react in all cases in all people. These are general guidelines into how a "default" function will feel inclined to act.
Fe+ will coerce interaction through teasing, jabbing, badgering, and manipulation (specifically Responsibility invocation or implying you have a duty to interact with them).
Fe+ will use known information to entice others into conversation by any means. This could be saying something it knows will get a rise or it could be directly calling someone out to motivate them to engage with it.
Passive functions on the other hand seem to view it as their own responsibility to act in ways which result in or enable the use of the function. Ex: Passive Fe
Fe- will learn a persons topics of interest and use this to entice others into conversation.
Fe- will tread carefully in conversation and action to avoid offending or altering the mood of someone so as to avoid damaging the social harmony and ending the interaction.
There are many more observations to gleam but these are a few.
In general Fe wants to secure interactions with others and will find ways to do that which heavily depend on the disposition of that particular function in that particular individual.
Human Needs
There are 4 major "Human Needs" that one can have. These are derived from the individuals first function. For example, Se is a function that is enthralled with trying new things and sensation seeking. People with Se first would have the Gather human need. This suggests that that individual will continue to seek experiences and uncover more of the world as it is what they enjoy the most and how they operate the best. Gather individuals chase new activities, avoid boredom at all costs and refuse to prioritize the tradition for its own sake or organization of information that leads to them experiencing the same stimulus or lack thereof for extended periods of time.
DISCLAIMER: Human needs to not predict or force individuals into certain hobbies or activies. It is merely a high level drive to engage in very general over arching behavior.
REMINDER: Every individual has every function so there will be times where behaviors consist with this description will be noticed in individuals without Se first and the Gather Human Need. However those WITH the Gather Human Need will be engaging in these behaviors much more frequently and in a much more serious fashion.
States
The idea that there are "Hero" states and "Demon" states. OP calls the first function the hero and the last function the demon. This is because one is a talent that is used to solve most problems throughout your life. The demon is much less developed and often is a force that fights against you, causing problems that are hard to solve and sometimes even notice. This difference in competency and respect leads to the reality of different states based on the different combinations of the above factors. A hero state is classified as your confident and controlled use of a function high up in your stack. This funciton will be the one you developed first and have come to accept as your main concern. When you see someone in a flow state it is incredibly likely they are participating in activities that are calling upon their hero functions and thus they are able to "zone in". Conversely, the demon state is characterized by a relative shift into unsure, shy, incompetent, and potentially frustrated and mad dispositions.
States can not only change rapidly but they can also be evoked in individuals.
Take an individual with the following first 4 functions: Ne - Ti - Fe - Se
Asking this individual to explain the difference between shoes and feet (A random Ne Ti question) will result in a lively, confident blastor session where they lie out the facts, the principles, and the abstract concepts and connections that led them to their answer.
Now directly after ask them how the maintenance on their car is doing, or if they have a clean room, or if they remember a past details like what was the first book they read or to recall the eye color of the last stranger that they passed on the street. They may still be able to answer however you will notice a sudden shift in confidence, and speech patterns as the focus of the conversations switches to information that is more focused on their demon rather than their hero.
Most tantrums / freakouts that people have are related to their demon in one way or another. Either they are being forced to use it for longer than they can tolerate by life circumstances or others creating an environment that requires it, somebody "takes a shot" at their demon and they get defensive, someone else overuses this function on their own and exposes the individual to it leading to a demon state being evoked in the individual, or simply not having opportunities to engage their hero and thus rebelling against the use of their other functions.
