Me and Sam's friendship

Over the years me and Sam have identified countless mechanisms explained by function theory that accurately predict our friendship's course and even development

Brain Activity differences

  1. So for the NeTi (Me) scan and the NeFi (you) scan have a bright red region on the exact opposite side of our brain I have T3 which is about speaking and verbalizing (Blast) and yours is T4 which is about Noticing tone of voice, affect, and hearing when something "resonates" with you (Sleep)

Its literally a swap from the region above my left ear to the region above your right ear

Using our second most utilized region to make friends and choose others to befriend

Sam's T4 (Fi) picking up novel individuals

  1. SamuelHamuel: Side thought only partially related to this, but I've been thinking lately that how attached I get to a person, at least initially, seems to almost directly correlate with either the variety or the novelty of emotional experience that person gives me

  2. SamuelHamuel:

An Se dom who comes at me initially with small talk about nothing in particular? Disregarded An Fi dom who is loudly and proudly enjoying life in a way most people either don't or keep subdued? Attached immediately An Ne dom who openly questions my beliefs, not in a personal attack, but as a consideration of the logic behind them? Return for more conversation asap

My T3 (Ti) picking up mental sparring partners who don't get offended

  1. No thats great lol Because it also (like always) explains mine too Some Se dom that takes everything personally and sees the world in black and white? Helll no An Ne dom that can deliberate ideas and principles impersonally for fun? Hell yeah

  2. [1:08 PM]motazmo:

So it looks like yours comes down to the value the person brings to your drive for collecting new and novel characters and my comes down to the value the person brings to my drive for collecting people who allow me to challenge thoughts and principles in a no stakes way
